Insects offer a superior pathway for producing the complex recombinant proteins often required for biopharmaceuticals. The key competitive element to the living larvae technology is the insects produce proteins faster, better, and for much less money than do other recombinant systems.

The Larval Express® allows researchers to learn, first hand, the advantages of the in vivo insect system and to produce recombinant protein(s) at research scales. The kit provides the customer rapid confirmation of the protein encoded by the genetic constructs and can provide sufficient protein product for many experiments.

Entopath also offers small-scale larval infection services for customers not wanting to use kits in their laboratories. Such small scale expression should be conducted prior to large-scale production.
